Dated measurement record · August 14, 2026

Our starting line: a transparent AI visibility baseline.

We locked 12 non-branded buyer queries before changing the site, then measured Frontier Rank across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google Search. The zero result is the control—not the outcome story.

Finding

Frontier Rank had no observable non-branded discovery footprint for the locked query set on August 14, 2026. The immediate problem is not defending a rank; it is building retrievable evidence that connects the entity to the category, geography, method, and target verticals.

Why keep a zero baseline?

A useful case study needs a real before.

The baseline prevents us from rewriting the story later. Future movement will be compared with the same query wording and separated from provider variability, personalization, and formula changes.

Transparent starting point

No inherited visibility is being presented as the result of Frontier Rank’s work.

Fixed measurement

The prompts are locked for the 30, 60, and 90-day series rather than rewritten to manufacture improvement.

Record non-wins

If an engine still does not mention Frontier Rank after an intervention, that result belongs in the internal record and future case study.

The query portfolio

Category, local, problem, and vertical intent.

These are non-branded discovery questions. Frontier Rank’s name was never inserted into the prompt.

Competitive observations

The category is fragmented.

No local provider appeared consistently across both ChatGPT and Gemini. Google’s national results leaned toward established software and authority domains.

Ads were excluded. Gemini names without external support were recorded as low-confidence observations and excluded from the verified set.

Method and limitations

What this baseline can prove.

This report proves what was visibly returned in a bounded, dated run. It does not prove that every user, geography, account, or future model version will see the same answer.

PROMPTS

Exact wording, new conversation.

Each core check used the locked query text without adding the Frontier Rank brand. A new consumer conversation was used for each query.

SURFACES

Two core engines, one corroboration layer.

ChatGPT and Gemini were scored as answer surfaces. Google Search was recorded separately and did not substitute for an AI answer.

SESSIONS

Consumer context is visible.

ChatGPT was anonymous. Gemini and Google were signed in. Personalization and location may influence local results.

VARIANCE

One run is not stability.

Answers are live and variable. Repeated fixed-query checks at 30, 60, and 90 days will distinguish movement from noise.

First intervention

Build the evidence spine.

The first controlled change is a small set of pages connecting the Frontier Rank entity to its method, audit, markets, and original evidence.

The Frontier Rank Method

Defines measurement, claim levels, evidence layers, provider scope, and fixed-query retesting.

Audit anatomy

Explains what a source-locked AI visibility audit contains and labels illustrative material clearly.

Local authority pages

Provides distinct, useful Franklin and Nashville guidance tied to actual market observations—not city-name rewrites.

Your baseline should be this clear.

Start with the exact business and market. Keep live evidence separate from estimates.
